Can you think of a better way to spend the 4th of July than exploring America the Great’s National Parks? I sure can’t! Neither could the swoon of prairie dogs that welcomed us to our last stop for gas before entering Badlands National Park.

The album itself is a powerful journey through some of the most difficult emotions that we face in our relationships with others and with ourselves. At a first listen, you’d think that the “Treat You Better” chorus is an open plead to get someone back, but it’s not. It’s an open invitation to treat yourself better in healing from a toxic relationship. Moving back to Colorado has been such an incredible journey of self-love and healing. Thank you Colorado for treating me better already ❤️

I officially accepted a teaching position in my ne I officially accepted a teaching position in my new home! After thinking long and hard about this decision, I asked myself, “If I don’t do this, will I look back and regret it?” The truth is, your brain is wired to protect you. Oftentimes, you would rather stay in a familiar situation even if it makes you unhappy. But don’t allow yourself to get stuck. I encourage you to ask yourself the same question too. Keep asking, “If I don’t take the leap, will I look back in 5 years and regret it?” If any part of your soul says yes, run straight towards it without looking back. Take the leap into the unknown, and out of your comfort zone. When you’re scared to jump, that’s exactly when you jump. Do it scared!
